What We Do

Innovating Affordable Housing
for a Better Tomorrow

NCGDI is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit community development organization based in Winston-Salem, NC. We design and develop affordable and recovery-oriented housing models that promote long-term stability, wellness, and economic opportunity.

Affordable Housing Development

We develop, acquire, and preserve affordable housing to ensure safe, stable homes are available to individuals and families throughout North Carolina — including recovery-oriented and supportive housing communities.

Through trusted community partners, residents gain access to case management, recovery resources, mental health referrals, transportation assistance, life-skills support, and peer mentorship.
